Connecting TikTok lets you plan and publish TikTok videos and photo posts from Pluspoint alongside your other social channels. Each connected TikTok account is attached to one Pluspoint location. A multi-location team can run a separate TikTok account per site and manage them all in one place.

Before you start

Your team’s Account Settings permission must be Full, or you must be the account owner.

You need the sign-in details for the TikTok account you want to publish from.

Create at least one location first — the TikTok account is attached to a location.

Where to find it

Settings → Integrations, or go to https://app.pluspoint.io/account-settings/integrations.

Connect a TikTok account

Select Add integration.
Type TikTok into Search integrations, then select Connect on the TikTok row.
Pluspoint sends you to TikTok’s authorisation page. Sign in with the TikTok account you want to publish from.
Grant both permissions TikTok asks for. Declining either one fails the connect.
When TikTok returns you to Pluspoint, the Manage integration modal opens with a single row for the connected account.
Choose Connect to location, pick the location from the Location dropdown, and select Save.

Pluspoint publishes with TikTok’s Direct Post method only, so content goes straight to the account rather than into the creator’s TikTok inbox to be finished there.

Attach TikTok to a location

TikTok has no per-Page or per-listing list, so Manage integration shows one row for the whole account. Reopen it any time with Manage on the TikTok row. From there you can move the account to a different location, or set it to Don’t connect.

The Location dropdown hides locations that already have a TikTok account attached, so each location holds at most one.

You can also start from the location: open a location at https://app.pluspoint.io/locations/manage, find the Integrations section and use Connect Profile on the TikTok row. If more than one TikTok account is connected, Pluspoint asks which one to use before linking.

Note You can connect several TikTok accounts. Each gets its own row, identified by its TikTok account, and can be attached to a different location.

What connecting TikTok gives you

Publishing, and nothing else — TikTok brings no reviews and no conversations into Pluspoint. Create posts in Creating and scheduling posts and review their performance in Social analytics.

Post settings

A post that targets TikTok cannot be scheduled until its TikTok tab in the post editor is filled in. Pluspoint sends exactly what you choose there; nothing is chosen for you.

Setting	What to know
Who can view this post	Required, and empty until you pick. The list holds only the audiences every targeted TikTok account offers, so one private account narrows it for the whole post. If two accounts share no audience at all, the tab names one of them; remove it and schedule it separately.
Allow viewers to comment, duet or stitch	All off until you turn them on. An option the creator has switched off in the TikTok app is greyed out and stays off. Photo posts offer comments only.
Disclose commercial content	Turn it on when the post promotes your own business (Your brand), a third party (Branded content), or both. Branded content cannot go out as Only me.
Video length	A TikTok account can allow less than the 10-minute limit. The editor checks the video against each targeted account and names the one it is too long for.

The preview panel shows the TikTok account each location posts as, with the name and avatar TikTok reports at that moment. If TikTok is not accepting posts from one of the accounts, the tab says so and scheduling waits until it does.

TikTok can take a few minutes to show a post on the profile after it is published. The post stays at Publishing in the table until then.

Reconnect a TikTok account

A row shows Reconnect when its status is Disconnected — access was revoked in TikTok, or the account’s credentials changed. Pluspoint emails the account when this happens. A healthy connection normally maintains itself.

Select Reconnect on the TikTok row.
Sign in with the same TikTok account and grant both permissions again.

Reconnecting the same account restores its location link. Signing in with a different TikTok account creates a new row instead.

Disconnect a TikTok account

Select Delete on the TikTok row, or Delete at the bottom left of the Manage integration modal.
Confirm on the Delete integration? dialog.

What happens	Detail
Access revoked at TikTok	Pluspoint’s token is revoked at TikTok.
Social profile removed	The TikTok profile record is deleted. TikTok carries no reviews, so no review data is lost.
Location link removed	The location’s TikTok connection is removed and the row disappears from the table.
Publishing stops	Scheduled posts can no longer be published to that account.
The location’s TikTok link stays	The TikTok URL saved on the location’s social links is a location field, so it survives the disconnect.

Deleting one TikTok row leaves any other connected TikTok accounts untouched.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Cause	Fix
