iFood
Updated August 24, 2026
The iFood integration brings the reviews your diners leave on iFood into Pluspoint. They sit in the same feed as your Google and Facebook reviews, and you can answer them without opening the iFood portal. To connect it, list the CNPJ of every location you trade under on iFood. Access is then granted on the iFood side before the integration goes live.
Before you start
- Account Settings permission set to Full — the Integrations tab is hidden from everyone else.
- Your account Locale must be Brazil. iFood is only listed in Add integration on Brazilian accounts. Check the setting under Settings → Account.
- The CNPJ of each location as it is registered on iFood.
- At least one Pluspoint location to link each iFood merchant to.
- An active subscription that is inside its location and user limits.
Where to find it
Settings → Integrations, or go to https://app.pluspoint.io/account-settings/integrations.
Connect iFood
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Click Add integration and find iFood.
- Click Connect on the iFood row.
- Type each CNPJ into a CNPJ field, using the + icon to add a field per location.
- Click Connect.
Warning Pluspoint does not check the format or length of a CNPJ — the form accepts any text. A typo only surfaces when iFood cannot match the number, which delays activation. Check each number before you submit.
While your request is being processed
Submitting the form does not switch iFood on by itself. Pluspoint receives the CNPJ list and iFood grants access separately, so the integration sits in In progress first, and no location can be linked yet.
Once at least one merchant is registered against your account, the status turns to Connected and the merchants become selectable on your locations.
Link an iFood merchant to a location
iFood reviews are collected per location, so each registered merchant has to be attached to the Pluspoint location it belongs to.
- Go to Locations → Manage, or https://app.pluspoint.io/locations/manage, and open the location.
- Open the Integrations section.
- On the iFood row, open the actions menu and choose Connect Profile.
- Choose the merchant in the Connect Location drawer and confirm the link.
A merchant can only be attached to one location, and a location can hold only one iFood connection. To move a merchant, first disconnect it on the location that currently holds it. The row menu there offers Disconnect.
What the integration does
| Behaviour | Detail |
|---|---|
| Reviews | Imported into Reviews → All reviews, where they can be read, filtered, replied to and reported on |
| Import frequency | About once an hour |
| Reply length | Between 10 and 300 characters; an empty reply is rejected |
| Accounts per Pluspoint account | One. Connecting again replaces the stored CNPJ list |
| Manage button | Not offered for iFood — merchants are linked from the location, not from the integrations table |
Disconnecting iFood
- On the iFood row, click Delete.
- Confirm in the Delete integration? dialog.
What happens next:
- Every iFood link on your locations flips to Disconnected. No further reviews are imported, and replies can no longer be sent.
- iFood reviews already imported stay in Pluspoint. Nothing is deleted from your review history.
- Your registered merchants are kept on the Pluspoint side, which is why reconnecting the same CNPJs can go live immediately instead of returning to In progress.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| iFood is not in the Add integration list | The account Locale is not Brazil, or iFood is already connected | Check Settings → Account. Only one iFood connection exists per account, so it drops off the list once connected |
| The Integrations tab is missing or greyed out | You do not have Account Settings set to Full, or the subscription has expired or exceeded plan limits | Ask an account owner or a full-access admin, or resolve the billing issue on Settings → Billing |
| The row is stuck on In progress | No merchant has been registered for the account yet | Access is granted on the iFood side. Confirm the CNPJs you submitted are the ones registered with iFood |
| ”iFood integration is not connected” | The integration was deleted or has become inactive | Reconnect iFood from Settings → Integrations |
| ”iFood access for this merchant is not active” | The integration is active but that particular merchant is not registered for your account | Only registered merchants can be linked and synced; submit the missing CNPJ and wait for activation |
| ”This online profile is already connected to another location…” | The merchant is attached to a different location | Open that location, choose Disconnect on the iFood row, then link the merchant where you want it |
| A reply is rejected | The reply is shorter than 10 or longer than 300 characters | iFood enforces the length; shorten or expand the text |
| New reviews are slow to appear | The import runs on a schedule | iFood reviews are pulled about once an hour |
