Brands

Updated August 24, 2026

A brand is a named group of locations plus a visual appearance preset. Grouping locations lets you scope channels, survey templates, coupon templates and campaigns to one part of your estate. It also lets you give a team access to every location under a brand in one move. The appearance preset is what customers see on the public pages Pluspoint generates for those locations.

Before you start

  • Requires Account Settings = Full on one of your teams, or being the account owner. The requirement is enforced on the tab, on creating and editing, on deleting and on uploading a logo.
  • A brand needs at least one location, and a location can belong to only one brand — so you need a location that is not already assigned.
  • Have your logo ready as a JPG or PNG under 500 KB.

Where to find it

Select Settings in the left sidebar, then the Brands tab. Direct link: https://app.pluspoint.io/account-settings/brands.

What a brand does

  • Groups locations. Every location in a brand is a peer of every other; there is no lead location and no hierarchy.
  • Scopes other features. Channels, survey templates, coupon templates and campaigns can be assigned to a brand, and teams can be scoped to one or more brands. See Teams.
  • Supplies the look of your public pages. Its appearance preset drives microsites, survey pages, coupon pages, the unsubscribe page and the live-chat widget header.

Note Brands do not share profile data between their locations. Connecting a Google or social profile to one location in a brand does not connect it to the others. Profile and channel sharing is always explicit, and set per location.

Create a brand

  1. Select Create new brand.
  2. On the Settings sub-tab, type the brand Title.
  3. Decide whether to turn on Automatically assign brand to new locations.
  4. Pick the first Location, and add more location rows if needed.
  5. Switch to the Appearance sub-tab and set the background, font, buttons and logo.
  6. Save the brand.
ControlRules
TitleRequired
Automatically assign brand to new locationsOnly one brand per account can hold this. A brand created while no default exists gets it switched on
Location rowsAt least one required. The picker only lists locations that are not already in another brand

Set the appearance

Set the background style and colour, the font and its colour, and the button style and colours — all colour fields take HEX values. Upload the logo as a JPG or PNG between 10 KB and 500 KB; it is cropped square.

Where the appearance shows up

Pluspoint applies the background, font, button and logo settings to every public page it generates for the brand’s locations:

Edit a brand

Click the row. Edit brand opens on the same two sub-tabs.

Removing a location from a brand fails if it is the only one left: This is the brand’s only location. Assign another location to the brand first. Add the replacement location first, then remove the old one.

Delete a brand

Select the delete icon on the row and confirm. Deletion is refused while anything still depends on the brand:
