Pluspoint — AI local marketing platform

Billing and plans

Updated August 24, 2026

The Billing tab is where you subscribe and adjust how many locations and users you pay for. It also shows your Pulse AI credit balance and which locations are enrolled in the Local Directories add-on. Payment methods, invoices and cancellation live in Stripe’s customer portal, which this page links to.

Before you start

  • Requires Account Settings = Full on one of your teams, or being the account owner. Anyone else who tries to trigger an upgrade sees Please ask your account admin to upgrade the plan.
  • Buying Pulse AI credits and turning on auto-pay need a paid, non-lapsed subscription — neither is available during the free trial.
  • Local Directories is enrolled per location from Locations, not from this tab.

Where to find it

Select Settings in the left sidebar, then the Billing tab — or click your avatar and choose Billing. Direct link: https://app.pluspoint.io/account-settings/billing.

How the plan is priced

There is a single plan, named Pluspoint. Every feature is included — there are no tiers and no feature gates. What you choose is how many locations you pay for, how many users, and whether you are billed annually or monthly.

What is billedUnitRules
The planPer location, per periodMinimum 3 locations
UsersPer extra seat3 users are included; anyone beyond that is billed per seat
Pulse AI creditsIncluded monthly allowanceExtra credits are bought separately
Local DirectoriesPer location, per periodOptional add-on, enrolled from each location

The annual price is ten times the monthly price — two months free compared with paying monthly.

The currency you are billed in follows the Locale set on the Account tab:

Account localeBilled in
BrazilBrazilian real (R$)
Germany, Poland, Portugal, SpainEuro (€)
United KingdomPound sterling (£)
International, Ukraine, United StatesUS dollar ($)

For current per-location and per-seat prices in your market, see the pricing page.

The free trial

New accounts start on a Free Trial that runs for 14 days from the moment you complete onboarding. During the trial you can add unlimited locations and users, so you can build the account out before deciding what to pay for.

When the trial ends without a subscription, the account is locked — see When a subscription lapses.

Subscribe or change what you pay for

  1. On the Current plan card, select Upgrade plan (no active subscription yet) or Change plan (already subscribed).
  2. Choose Annual or Monthly.
  3. Set Number of locations. The stepper will not go below three, or below the number of locations you already have — whichever is higher.
  4. Set Number of users. Same rule: never below three, never below the number of users you already have.
  5. Select Proceed to payment.

For a new subscription this opens Stripe Checkout. For an existing subscription you get a preview step first; Confirm charges and applies the change immediately — there is no second checkout page.

Note You cannot use this drawer to shrink below what you are currently using. To pay for fewer locations or users, delete the surplus locations or remove the surplus users first, then reduce the numbers here.

Need something the drawer does not offer? Talk to sales opens a meeting scheduler.

Update payment details, invoices and cancellation

Select Manage plan on the Current plan card. That opens Stripe’s hosted customer portal, where you can:

  • Change the card or payment method on file.
  • View past invoices and download them.
  • Cancel the subscription.

Pluspoint does not store or render invoices itself, so the portal is the only place to retrieve them. If the account has more than one subscription, Manage plan asks you to pick one under Select account first.

After you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. During that window you cannot change the plan from Pluspoint — see Troubleshooting.

Local Directories

The Local Directories block lists the locations enrolled in the directories add-on. It is a read-out, not a shop: you cannot buy Local Directories from the Billing tab.

Enrol a location

  1. Go to Locations → Manage locations and open the location you want to enrol.
  2. Open its Local Directories control and select Add Local Directories.
  3. If your account has more than one subscription, choose one under Bill to subscription.
  4. Confirm.

The charge is taken immediately and prorated against your current billing period.

If your plan already includes directories publishing, the Local Directories block does not appear at all. Enrolling returns Local Directories publishing is already included in your plan.

Cancel the add-on

Open the location again and select Cancel Local Directories. Publishing continues to the end of the period you have paid for, after which the location’s listings are removed. No refunds are issued.

On a monthly subscription the add-on carries a 3-month minimum term. On an annual subscription there is no minimum term, so you can cancel straight away.

Two side effects worth knowing: a location with an active Local Directories add-on cannot be deleted, and its country cannot be changed.

Pulse AI credits

Pulse AI actions consume credits, and the Pulse AI Credits block is where you watch and top up the balance.

RowWhat it means
Recurrent creditsThe allowance included with your plan. These reset at the beginning of each billing cycle
Additional creditsCredits you have bought. These do not expire and stay available until used
Enable auto-payBuys credits automatically when the balance drops below a limit you set
Credit limitThe additional-credit balance at which auto-pay triggers. Default 10
Credits to purchaseHow many credits auto-pay buys each time. Default 100
Select accountOn accounts with more than one subscription, which one auto-pay charges

To turn auto-pay on:

  1. Switch Enable auto-pay on.
  2. Set Credit limit and Credits to purchase.
  3. Pick a subscription under Select account if you are asked to.
  4. Select Save changes.

How credits behave:

  • Every Pulse AI action spends a recurrent credit first, and only falls back to an additional credit once the recurrent allowance is exhausted.
  • Recurrent credits reset to your plan’s allowance on the subscription renewal date.
  • Warning emails go out when the combined balance drops to 5 and again at 1.

When a subscription lapses

StateWhat happens
A paid invoice goes unpaidThe subscription stays active through a 30-day grace period past its expiry date, then flips to expired
The free trial ends without a subscriptionThe account is locked
A cancelled subscription reaches the end of its paid periodThe account is locked
The account is over its paid locations or usersThe Integrations and Channels tabs are disabled, a persistent error toast appears, and users with Account Settings = Full are pushed to the Billing tab from most pages

A locked account replaces the whole dashboard with a full-screen subscribe screen. Everything you set up stays in place and is there again as soon as you subscribe. A user without Account Settings = Full cannot subscribe from that screen.

While the account is locked, API calls fail with An active subscription is required — subscribe to continue. Only signing in, reading the account and subscribing still work.

Warning When entitlements are lost, some scheduled work stops and does not restart by itself. Automations are paused. One-time campaigns that were running or scheduled are marked failed, and coupon templates are paused. After you subscribe again, go back into Automations, your campaigns and your coupon templates and start them manually.
