Photos and videos

Updated August 24, 2026

Photos & Videos is the media feed of your Google Business Profiles. One grid holds both the photos you publish and the photos and videos customers post about your locations. From there you can add new images for several locations at once, spot media you do not want on your listing, and act on it.

Before you start

  • The page is Google-only. Without an active Google integration it shows Integration required and nothing else. See Google Business Profile.
  • Each location needs a Google profile connected to it before its media appears. See Managing locations.
  • Viewing needs Locations access (locations:restricted or locations:full), limited to your assigned locations.
  • Uploading needs full Locations access (locations:full) on the location you are uploading for. See Users and permissions.
  • Facebook and Instagram media is not shown here.

Where to find it

Locations → Photos & Videos, or go to https://app.pluspoint.io/locations/media.

Filter the feed

Select Filters, set what you want and select Apply filters.

FilterOptionsDefault

Apply filters is disabled while any of the lists is empty, so keep at least one value selected in each.

Upload photos

  1. Go to Locations → Photos & Videos.
  2. Select Upload.
  3. Pick one or more Locations. Only locations with a Google profile that you have full access to are offered.
  4. Optionally pick Categories.
  5. Drag in or select up to 10 JPG or PNG files.
  6. Select Upload photos.

Each photo is published to Google once per selected location. Picking 3 locations and 4 photos creates 12 items on Google.

Upload limits

LimitValue
Files per upload10
File typesJPG or PNG (.jpg, .jpeg, .png)
Minimum file size10 KB
Maximum file size5 MB
Recommended minimum resolution720 px tall by 720 px wide
VideosCannot be uploaded

Pluspoint does not check image dimensions, so a smaller file uploads without complaint — Google is what rejects it. Videos appear in the grid only when customers post them to Google.

Delete, report and undo

Exactly one action is offered per item, depending on who published it.

ItemAction offered
Media you uploadedDelete
Customer media that Google supplies a removal link forReport
Media you have already reportedUndo report
Customer media with no removal link from GoogleNo action — the button is not shown

Delete your own photo

  1. Open the menu on the tile, or open the item, and select Delete.
  2. Confirm.

Deleting removes the photo from Google as well as from Pluspoint, and it cannot be undone.

Report a customer photo

  1. Open the menu on the tile and select Report.
  2. Pluspoint opens Google’s own content-removal form in a pop-up window, pre-pointed at that media item.
  3. Complete the request on Google’s site. Pluspoint does not ask you for a reason and does not submit anything on your behalf.
  4. The item is flagged Reported in Pluspoint so you can track what you have already raised.

Google decides whether to remove the media. Undo report clears the Reported flag in Pluspoint only — it has no effect on a request you have already submitted to Google.

When customer media appears

Pluspoint imports new Google media about once a day. A photo or video a customer posts to Google shows up in the grid within roughly 24 hours, not immediately. Photos you upload through Pluspoint appear in the grid straight away.
