Location analytics
Updated August 24, 2026
Location analytics shows how customers find your locations on Google, and what they do next. You get impressions on Google Search and Google Maps, calls, direction requests, website clicks and conversations, plus the searches people used. Use it to compare locations, spot the ones losing visibility, and show which listings actually generate contact.
Before you start
- The page reports Google data only. The account needs an active Google integration. See Google Business Profile.
- Only locations with a connected Google profile appear. See Managing locations.
- Viewing needs Locations access (
locations:restrictedorlocations:full), limited to your assigned locations. See Users and permissions.
Where to find it
Locations → Analytics, or go to https://app.pluspoint.io/locations/analytics/performance.
Choose what you are measuring
Select Filters and set what you need:
| Filter | Options | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Locations | Every location with a connected Google profile | All of them |
| Platforms | ||
| Timeframe | Any date range | The last 12 months |
| Group by | Day, Week, Month, Year | Month |
The four headline metrics
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Search appearances | Impressions on Google Search only, desktop and mobile |
| Views | All impressions — Google Search and Google Maps, desktop and mobile |
| Engagements | Calls, website clicks, conversations, direction requests, bookings and food menu clicks added together |
| Conversion | Engagements divided by views, shown as a whole-number percentage |
Each card shows the change against the period immediately before the one you selected, of the same length.
Charts and tables
In the Engagements chart, Others covers bookings and food menu clicks.
Search keywords lists the searches that brought up your listings — only the top 10 keywords.
Presence is the per-location table. Use the ⋮ menu on its card to download it as Export as CSV or Export as Excel.
How fresh the data is
| Data | Freshness |
|---|---|
| Views, engagements and device breakdown | Updated about once a day |
| Search keywords | Published by Google monthly, not daily. Pluspoint treats a month as unpublished until 45 days after it ends, so the current month — and often the one before it — is legitimately empty |
Days on which Google reports nothing are stored as zeros, not skipped. A flat run of zeros therefore means Google reported no activity — not that Pluspoint failed to fetch. If the integration is disconnected, collection stops and the figures already gathered stay in place.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| A location is missing from Locations in the filters | It has no connected Google profile | Connect its Google profile. See Managing locations |
| The page is empty | The account has no active Google integration, or no location has a Google profile connected | Connect Google in Settings → Integrations with settings:full, then connect each location’s profile |
| Search keywords is empty for the latest month | Google publishes keywords about 45 days after a month ends | Pick a timeframe that ends more than 45 days ago |
| Views is much higher than Search appearances | Views include Google Maps impressions; Search appearances do not | Compare against the Devices breakdown to see the Maps share |
| Numbers stopped growing after a certain date | The Google integration was disconnected | Reconnect Google; collection resumes for the days it can still fetch |
| A stretch of zeros in the middle of a chart | Google reported no activity on those days | No action — the gap is Google’s data, not a missing fetch |
| Only 10 rows in Search keywords | The table is limited to the top 10 keywords | Narrow the Locations filter to see keywords for a single location |
