How to post to Google Business Profile for multiple locations at once
Updated September 18, 2026
Google Business Profile has no button that publishes one update to every location you manage. Pluspoint adds that step: you write the post once, select the locations, and each location’s own profile publishes its own copy through its own connected account. This article walks through that flow, from the first click to checking that every location went live.
Before you start
- You need full Posts permission. Restricted access shows the calendar read-only, with no Create new post button.
- Every location you want to include needs a verified Google profile connected under Locations → Profiles. See Google Business Profile and Profiles.
- Google accepts up to 1,500 characters and one image per post, and no video. The editor enforces this as you type. See Platform requirements and limits.
Where to find it
Social → Posts → Create new post, or go to https://app.pluspoint.io/social/posts.
Post to every location in one go
- Select Create new post and enter a Title. It names the post in your calendar and never appears on Google.
- Under Platforms, select Google. Add Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X or LinkedIn in the same step if the update belongs there too. Each platform gets its own tab in the editor.
- Set the Scheduled time.
- Under Locations, select every location that should publish, or all of them. Only locations with a connected Google profile are offered for Google.
- On the All platforms tab, write your Message and add one image with Upload media.
- Open the Google tab and add a button if the post needs one: Book, Order online, Buy, Learn more or Sign up with a link, or Call now without one.
- Select Schedule post, or open the arrow next to it and choose Save draft.
Pluspoint then creates one Google Business Profile post per location and publishes each one through that location’s own connected profile. Twenty locations selected means twenty posts, each with its own status.
Give each location its own details
One message can still read as local. Select Dynamic variables in the message toolbar and drop in [location], [city], [primary_phone] or [address_line_1], and every location publishes its own version with its own name, city, phone or street filled in. The preview panel shows the result for any location you pick. The full list of placeholders is in Insert location details.
If the Google version should read differently from Facebook or Instagram, edit it on the Google tab. The other platforms keep the original.
Schedule ahead
Pluspoint works as a Google Business Profile post scheduler for the whole chain. Plan the month in the calendar, drag a post to another day, and every location’s copy that has not published yet moves with it. Posts you are not ready to send can wait as drafts. See Creating and scheduling posts.
Check that every location published
Open the post in Table view and expand the row. Each location’s Google post shows its own status. A post marked Not published carries Google’s reason when you hover the chip, most often a disconnected profile or a rejected image, and can be retried on its own once the cause is fixed. See Read the statuses.
Google Business Profile posts publish without analytics in Pluspoint. Reach and engagement numbers cover Facebook and Instagram only. See Social analytics.
